Councillor John Anderson

Having had the privilege to serve as your local Councillor for the past ten years I am asking for your continued support. I am also asking you to support Collette Stevenson and maximise the SNP representation to allow us to work in partnership with local groups on the things that matter to you. We want to make things better, we want to make East Kilbride a cleaner, safer place to live in.

Being a Councillor is a hugely important role and I have built a well-respected reputation within the community, as being an effective community activist and will continue to champion the changes required to make a positive and significant difference to the area and the lives of the residents who live in the ward.

I have a track record in providing proper effective representation for everyday problems, a Councillor that makes himself accessible full time, with regular surgeries, attending local church events, school events, resident association meetings, community council meetings and school parent council meetings.

I believe that Councillors should do everything possible to make a positive difference to the everyday lives of people.
